The documentary "Amaneh's Golden Blood" on the table of "Nardeban".

Reported by Saba, quoting the program's Public Relations, the 253rd episode of the television program "Nardeban" (The Ladder) will air today, Friday, August 3, on the Documentary Network of IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting).

Habib Ahmadzadeh, a documentary filmmaker and well-known author in the country, is the guest on this episode. In a conversation with Hamed Shakibania, he discusses his latest film, "Amaneh's Golden Blood," and recounts the complex production story of this film. The topic of blood donation and transfusion is also discussed during this interview.

The 52-minute film "Amaneh's Golden Blood," directed by Habib Ahmadzadeh, tells the story of a girl from Bushehr for whom extensive international efforts are made, coordinated with the Blood Transfusion Organization, to find rare blood and save her life.

The film deals with Amaneh's rare condition: she falls into a coma, and it is discovered at the hospital that her blood type is one of the rarest, known as "golden blood," with no compatible match found even among her family members. Her blood was so scarce that the Blood Transfusion Organization launched extensive international efforts to find a donor. This documentary is not only a compelling medical narrative but also a story of resilience, hope, and an interconnected network to save lives that sometimes transcends borders.

In another segment of this week's "Nardeban," Ebadollah Salek Moghaddam, the Deputy Director of the Blood Transfusion Organization, also speaks with Hamed Shakibania about the documentary "Amaneh's Golden Blood." Additionally, interviews with prominent filmmakers and artists about this documentary will be broadcast on television for the first time. Among these individuals are: Loghman Khaledi, Mohammad Gomi, Hooshang Golmakani, Homayoun Asadian, Reza Kianian, Seyyed Reza Mir-Karimi, Morteza Shabani, Mohammad Reza Jafari Jelveh, Mohammad Mehdi Dadman, Hossein Saffar Harandi, Yousefali Mirshakak, Mohammad Reza Shafah, Ahmad Reza Darvish, Behrouz Afkhami, Mohammad Reza Kheradmandan, Mehdi Kalhor, Masoud Farasti, Abbas Yari, Alireza Davoudnejad, Mohammad Reza Tajik, Hamid Ghareh Daghi, and Sohrab Khosravi.

In the segment titled "And Now the Documentary," a section about Frank Capra will also be aired.

The television program "Nardeban" aims to take a specialized look at documentary film and photography, reviewing both Iranian and foreign works in this field. Hosted by Hamed Shakibania, directed and produced by Asghar Ahmadpour and Fatemeh Bourbour, and recorded at Naft Studio, the program features diverse segments and airs on Fridays at 5:00 PM on the Documentary Network, with reruns on Saturdays at 12:00 AM and 2:30 PM.
