According to Vebda (the Ministry of Health's news agency), Dr. Ali Jafarian, during a meeting of the Ministry of Health's Information Council in which the documentary "Amaneh's Golden Blood" was screened, emphasized the importance of effective communication with the public and stated: "Media and artistic productions can play a significant role in the better implementation of national health programs, including family medicine and population rejuvenation, and can be highly effective in raising public awareness and garnering public participation."
Referring to the shortage of resources and currency challenges in the country, he added: "Under such circumstances, the Ministry of Health's Information Council must take steps to strengthen the health sector through precise planning and the use of artistic and media tools."
Dr. Jafarian also described the documentary "Amaneh's Golden Blood" as a successful example in this field, saying: "By highlighting the issue of blood donation and public advocacy, this documentary has effectively conveyed an important message to society and serves as a model for other media productions in the health sector."
It is worth mentioning that the documentary "Amaneh's Golden Blood" was screened during this week's session of the Ministry of Health's Information Council and garnered the attention of council members. The documentary tells the story of doctors' efforts to save the life of a young girl in Bushehr who needed a rare type of blood known as "golden blood"; an effort that ultimately proved fruitless due to international sanctions and delays in shipping the blood from Spain, leading to Amaneh's death.
